The Thyroid test is used to evaluate the overall health of your thyroid by determining related hormone levels. This lab test can be used to diagnose common thyroid disorders like Hashimoto's thyroiditis, hyperthyroidism, and hypothyroidism.

 

The ThyroChek® TSH Testing Kit, tests for elevated thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) in whole blood. Elevated TSH is the first clinical indicator of hypothyroidism.


This kit is a rapid immunoassay that can yield results in about 15-30 minutes.  The test requires one drop of blood from a finger stick.
